Online Museum with OAC (Part 4): The Birthday of H.H. Princess Saovabhark Nariratana

          H.H. Princess Saovabhark Nariratana, (née Mom Chao Pio), the royal consort of King Rama V, was born on January 26th, 1854. She was the second daughter of H.R.H. Prince Ladavalya, Prince Bhumindra Bhakdi (head of the Ladavalya Royal Family) and Chao Chom Manda Chin (Chin, Grandmother of Royal Children, as latterly invested). She then upon being later elevated into the royal favour the King’s consort along with her two sisters. She had one daughter named H.R.H. Princess Chandra Saradavasa in 1873. After the passing away of H.H. Princess Saovabhark Nariratana in 1887, King Rama V had royal command to build the memorial monument to her at Bang Pa-In Royal Palace.
