On 18 November 2024, the Office of Arts and Culture led by Dr. Nantida Otakum, Deputy Director for International Affairs and Cooperation welcomed Asst.Prof. Dr. Sopid Sawangchitr, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, students from Faculty of Science and Technology and teachers and students from Universiti Putra Malaysia visiting Sai Suddha Nobhadol Building Museum, the historical heritage of Suan Sunandha and learn how to make Royal Thai Dessert "Sum pun nee" where Miss Sulawan Pansri, Head Office and Mr. Rawiroch Singhlumpong, academic officer, gave a lecture on the history of the museum and Mr. Chanaphop Vannaolarn and Ms. Wimonchat Letdkochasri, curators, demonstrated how to make “Sum pun nee”
This activity was aimed to disseminate knowledge regarding the history of Suan Sunandha and an ancient dessert among outsiders that in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal 4, Quality Education. In addition, to disseminate such knowledge among international students is the way to promote and conserve Thai culture that is in accordance with Sustainable Development Goal 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities and Sustainable Development Goal 17, Partnerships for The Goals, by working with cooperation networks to support international relations of the university.
