Dr. Peerapol Chatchawal, Director of the Office of Arts and Culture, along with Mr. Krittha Thamcharoensathit, Deputy Director for Administration and Planning, and other relevant personnel, traveled to attend a preparatory meeting and survey the route and venue for the Royal Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony on July 8, 2026. Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, in response to His Majesty's royal patronage, will offer the robes to Wat Sri Suriyawongsaram in Ratchaburi Province. The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The abbot of this temple is Phra Phrommongkol Wacharachan (Sawai Watthano Prasatthapong), a high-ranking monk and deputy head of the Dhammayuttika Nikaya. He is the younger brother of His Holiness Somdej Phra Ariyavongsakhatayan (Amporn Amparo), the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand.

In this meeting, Phra Kru Worakit Kosol (Suphakit Pholyano) represented the abbot. Mr. Boonsueb Khlibpeng, Director of the Religious, Arts and Culture Promotion Group, Ratchaburi Provincial Cultural Office, also attended the meeting to determine the guidelines for organizing this ceremony. This is to ensure that the ceremony is conducted correctly according to Buddhist precepts and to fulfill the royal devotion in the form of His Majesty the King's gracious granting of the Kathina robes to the university for this offering.
