M.C. Poonpissmai Diskul, a daughter of H.R.H Prince Damrongrajanuparp, born on February 17th, 1895 at Sam Yod Palace. She interested in Thai history and Buddhism. She wrote many books about Buddhism for example, Comparative Ethics in Hindu and Buddhist Traditions and The relevance of Buddhism in the modern world. The most important work of her was one of the founder of the World Fellowship of Buddhists (WFB) in May 25, 1950. president of the WFB four times for 21 years. M.C. Poonpissamai Diskul died in peace of old age on August 11th, 1990 at age 95. All her life, she served her country, religion and the Royal Institute for a long period of time with strong effort, integrity, modest and humbleness.
