The Office of Arts and Culture is driving the community's capacity building through soft power on local culture

The Office of Arts and Culture is driving the community's capacity building through soft power on local culture identities under the concept Krua Padivaradda: Suan Sunandha proudly presents the cuisines telling southern culture (stories) from Ranong local dishes to royal cuisines. This presents the royal cuisine culture of Suan Sunandha under supervision of Her Highness Princess Saisavali Bhiromya, the Royal Consort to King Rama V and a trace of the historical journey of King Rama IV to Ranong. This created the cultural soft power combining royal tradition and local livelihood affecting Ranong residents from past to present. From proudly presented background above, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in collaboration with local communities and government agencies in Ranong has integrated and combined the arts and culture of Suan Sunandha with Ranong traditions to develop and improve "cuisines" as a cultural soft power causing the changes and leading to raising creativity level to sustainably create values and incomes for the communities through the activities below:

1. Workshop to create new cuisines in Ranong.

2. Producing creative media for Thai cuisines.

3. Contest to create new local cuisines in Ranong.

4. Exhibitions and merchandise booths for selling products and local cuisines from Ranong.

5. Distribution of chef's table cuisines created by Suan Sunandha royal recipes and Ranong local ingredients at Sai Sudha Nobhadol Building.
