Her Royal Highness Princess Sai Savali Bhirom, Krom Phra Sutthasininat Piyamarajpadiwarada, served in the royal court as a royal consort of King Chulalongkorn. In the year 2441 B.E. (1898 A.D.), when His Majesty King Chulalongkorn graciously ordered the construction of a private pavilion at Suan Dusit Palace to be used as a royal residence for relaxation, she first moved in on October 28, 2442 B.E. (1899 A.D.) accompanied by her Queen, daughters, and royal consorts. His Majesty graciously allowed Princess Sri Sachanalai Surakanya and her daughters to reside in the pavilion. Later, when the construction of the main palace complex was completed, His Majesty graciously allowed Princess Sri Sachanalai Surakanya and her daughters to reside in the Suan Bua Palace and granted them the Suan Bua Plaeo Palace, located near the back wall of Suan Bua Palace, to be used as a royal kitchen for preparing meals for her royal husband.
